Chair Lisa Sheldon read a compiled evaluation giving Allardi exemplary marks across all four performance standards, calling her year one marked by "several significant leadership and organizational transitions." The board unanimously approved $11,145.53 in gift-fund donations, including an $8,601 Parent Teacher Organization gift for sensory walks, plus five routine policies covering the family handbook, Code of Conduct, wellness, visitors, and community-group relations. A roughly 20-member Technology Steering Committee presented draft AI guidelines barring student data from AI platforms and limiting classroom AI use until sixth grade; no vote was taken.
The committee also approved an October 5 Walgreens staff flu clinic and moved its next meeting to September 15 for a full AI policy presentation.
